Alex Enabnit – Programming Coordinator
Today we continued our Medley series with a continuation of last week’s theme: Central’s core values.
The first core value discussed this weekend is the Bible. We acknowledge the Bible as the revealed truth of God, providing direction for our lives. We desire to communicate its truth in a manner that relates to our culture.
At Central, we take the Bible seriously, and make no apologies for teaching the hard truths of the Bible in a way that relates to people.
The second core value from this weekend is Authenticity. We are a community of grace and forgiveness where everyone is allowed, encouraged, and expected to be authentic. This is a safe and practical place to come as you are and grow in your faith; but this is also a place where complacency is challenged.
In other words, everyone is welcome! Central is not a place of condemnation. We all suffer from the same sin problem, so there is no reason to put on a mask. Central’s members are challenged to be real with one another so we can help each other grow in Christ.
Actions always speak louder than words, but words can best explain actions. Join us next week as we wrap up this series explaining Central’s core values.
