The Leadership Summit is coming up in August and our church is a key host site for this awesome event. Everyone is a leader of something, and when a leader gets better at leading: everybody wins. Seeing leaders improve and grow is a very high value which central holds and we encourage everyone to attend this encouraging and challenging conference.
To get our church in the spirit of the Summit this week our message was delivered by Bob Goff, a speaker from last year’s Summit gathering. Bob is an attorney, humanitarian, and New York Times Best-Selling Author of Love Does. He is a sought after speaker for leadership and church events inspiring current and future influencers to get the “do” part of life.
Takeaways from Bob’s Message:
“Love God, love people, and do stuff!”
“See people not for who they are, but who they are becoming.”
“God’s ability to forgive isn’t limited by our ability to give it.”
“You want to lead well? Say yes, and be not afraid.”
