Alex Enabnit – Programming Coordinator

Things are beginning to wrap up for The Story! This weekend we looked at the second to last chapter of the book, but the last chapter of Paul’s life.

What do you want to be known for when you die? This may not be the most lighthearted question, but it’s still a question worth asking. When we look at Paul’s life, we see a lot of amazing things: the killer of Christians converted to Christ is probably the most influential believer of all time, but it wasn’t by mistake that Paul left such a legacy.

Here are four points exemplified by Paul’s life that can help us with our own legacy:

  1. Keep persevering
  2. Keep learning
  3. Keep sharing
  4. Keep pouring

How are you doing at actively leaving a legacy?

Verses and quotes from the message:

Acts 28:31; Acts 21:30-31; 2 Timothy 3:10-14; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Timothy 4:1-2; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15; 2 Timothy 4:6; Acts 20:24; 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Big Idea:  God didn’t call you to become a legend, but to create a legacy.
