Alex Enabnit – Programming Coordinator

This week we continued to look at Jesus’ life in The Story, particularly Jesus’ radical teaching.

Jesus was certainly no ordinary man. Yes, He was fully man, but He was also fully God. But the focus of this message was Jesus’ revolutionary teaching. From the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 to the teaching of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, Jesus flipped the world as everyone knew it upside down. In fact, if Jesus’ teachings don’t strike you as extremely radical, you don’t yet understand them!

Verses and quotes from the message:

Matthew 7:28-29; Matthew 13:54-56; Matthew 22:33; John 7:46; John 7:14-15; Matthew 5:3-10; Matthew 5:43-47; Luke 10:30-37; 1 John 2:6; 1 John 3:16-17; Proverbs 11:25; Matthew 25:35-36;

“A mediocre teacher TELLS, a good teacher EXPLAINS, a superior teacher DEMONSTRATES, a great teacher INSPIRES.” Anonymous

Big Idea:  If you’re not about others, you’re not about Christ.
