Our “Luke: The End” series is wrapping up next week, ending with the resurrection of Jesus (Luke 24) on Easter. Not only is our series wrapping up, but also our walk through the entire book of Luke! Before we get to the resurrection, however, we must first look at Luke 23:26-56, the crucifixion of Jesus.
During his message, Cal looked at the eight groups that witnessed Jesus’ crucifixion:
- Simon the Cyrene
- The large crowd
- The two criminals
- The rulers
- The soldiers
- The Centurion
- Joseph of Arimathea
- The women
Every member of these groups had a reaction to Jesus, either positive or negative. But either way, each person made their decisions up about Him. When it comes to Christ, you choose to either receive or reject him. To not choose is not a choice.
This begs the question, what do you believe about Jesus? Have you made your choice?
