What are You Open to?

Alex Enabnit – Programming Coordinator

Central needs your help! Are you up for the challenge?

This weekend we are beginning our Easter series called “Open” and it’s all about being open to the people around us – people that we interact with and see daily. The thing is, this series isn’t just meant for you; it’s meant for them too! This is where we need your help.

Would you be open to inviting a friend to come with you to Central for the next three weeks? Let me encourage you, even if you’ve never invited anybody before, this is probably one of the best times to give it a shot. You might be surprised by what happens! Also, if you’re on Facebook, start sharing the daily picture and help us promote the series online as well. You can find our page here.

Let me close with the words of Paul in 1 Cor. 9:19-23 where he says,

19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Keep this verse in mind as we begin this “Open” series. What are you open to doing in order to win people to Christ?
